Don Dickinson (born 1947 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian writer. He was a shortlisted nominee for the Governor General's Award for English-language fiction at the 1991 Governor General's Awards for his short story collection ''Blue Husbands'',〔"Finalists announced for top book awards". ''Toronto Star'', November 8, 1991.〕 and for the 1993 Books in Canada First Novel Award for his novel ''The Crew''.〔"Book finalists chosen Prize worth $5,000". ''The Globe and Mail'', February 25, 1994.〕 ''Blue Husbands'' was also a winner of the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize in 1992.〔"Need for love seen by B.C. writer".
